On this 8th Friday since a ban was imposed on a Muslim through a cease-and-desist notice sent on July 18, 2024 by Mr. David Foster of McLennan Ross Law firm on behalf of the Westend Islamic Society of Edmonton (“Masjid in the Park”), which is also the second day of the beginning of the blessed month of the birth of the Messenger—upon him blessings and peace— sent to all the worlds as the bearer of glad tidings and as a warner (bashīr wa nadhīr),
Instead of my weekly note of protest and reminder to the Muslims of the Park of this heinous crime by the clique that controls the Masjid in the Park, the same two persons who have been propagating an Islam of their own making through the khatibs they bring to the Minbar, which is an Islam other than the one brought by the Messenger of Allah, upon him peace and blessings, and by the same family who has squandered upwards of one million dollars of your money out of some 4 million which was collected in the name of building a house of Allah—a house of Allah from which a founding member of that same house has now been banished, using a law of the Queen of England, in violation of the Laws of Allah Most High, in their blindness, they are following the Jahilliya Arabs who banished the early Muslims from the House of Allah, and even from Makka itself, through a written notice that was hung on the door of the Ka`aba,
I share with you the attached letter, which I had sent last week to the head of the same family with the hope that he will take charge of the situation and repent and have his children repent from the ruinous path they have been following, but he did nothing.
I also share this note with you with the hope that one of you will ask the two persons who had pounced on me on Friday July 12, 2024, when I went up to the Minbar after the salah to clarify to you that the young Khatib had just erased the entire history of the descent of the Qur’an by stating that “Allah spoke the Qur’an to Jibril and Jibril put it in the heart of the Prophet”, to explain what was wrong in telling us that the Qur’an was not revealed in that manner, that in our Islam, we have a Guarded Tablet from where the Qur’an descended to the heaven of this world on Laylatul Qadr, a night better than 1000 months, and that in our tradition, we have a 23-year period during which the Qur’an was revealed to the heart of the Prophet, upon him blessings and peace.
I hope you will take that step and ask those two people: “Why did you desecrate the sanctity of the Minbar?” when this clarification is of utmost importance to the congregation which had just been told a blasphemous account of the revelation.

May Allah open the hearts through the light of His revelation and remove the darkness from the Masjid in the Park, which has become the Fasad in the Park through a well-planned strategy by those who trembled with fear of people and removed its Minaret, who continue extend their love to the non-Muslims and their dogs and invite them in to this building constructed with your money, and who banish a Muslim from the Masjid which they designed to have men and women stand side by side, a design your truly successfully prevented from happening, along with aberrations, but in the end, they succeeded in gaining control of the Masjid in the Park and now they spread their misguidance! Beware my brothers and sisters when you hear the Khatib today; beware of the misguidance that he may spread, if he is of the kind we have seen in the past.
